Island Aviation Development Association (IADA)

We believe in educating and instructing aviation safety leaders. By educating safety leaders, we provide resources that teaches relativity in everything we do. By Instructing safety leaders we demonstrate how best to utilize those resources to become efficient, effective, and to become more productive. Situation adjustments are a big factor in the aviation world. It is very important that aviation leaders understand that staying informed gives them the cutting edge to refine, modify, and make improvements according to those situations.

• IADA believes that the partnership with the aviation communities to create a Just Culture is a very important objective in the interest of aviation safety.

• IADA, through our effective presentation, can demonstrate the importance of that just Culture in the aviation industry.

• IADA believes that a company’s Return On Investments (ROI) plays a critical role for sustaining their aviation safety programs, growth and operations.

IADA promotes a Just Culture in aviation programs. A Just Culture is established and maintained with education, solid instructions, and pro-active thinking.

IADA can present a unique approach for a more effective Safety Management System (SMS) program within organizations. What is Safety Management System (SMS)? According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), it is a formal, top-down, organization-wide approach to managing safety risk and assuring the effectiveness of safety risk controls. It includes systematic procedures, practices, and policies for the management of safety risk. The ultimate understanding in the aviation arena is that everything we do has an underlying relativity to SAFETY. Our programs focus on an important principle in the aviation community. That is, Leaders should focus more on Behavior/Conduct, and less on Attitudes. Behavior/Conduct reflects Performances, while Attitude reflects Personality.
